Community Funding Requests — John Purchase Public School P&C

Got an idea that would make a real difference at JPPS? The P&C now accepts funding requests from anyone in our school community — parents, staff, students, or local groups — for projects and equipment that benefit our kids.

Whether it’s a new shade sail for the playground, resurfacing the basketball courts, uniforms for the band or sports teams, or something else entirely, we want to hear about it. If it benefits our school community, we want to know.

How it works

Submit your idea using the form below, telling us what you’d like funded and why it matters. The P&C committee reviews every request against our Funding Requests & Allocations Policy, which looks at things like the number of students who’ll benefit, value for money, and how the request aligns with the P&C’s fundraising priorities for the year.

Once a decision is made, we’ll let you know whether your idea has been approved, and if so, what the next steps look like. Not every idea can be funded — our budget is limited and we receive more good ideas than we can say yes to — but every submission is genuinely considered.

Before you apply

A few things that help us assess your idea faster:

   – Be specific about what you’re asking for and roughly what it costs (a quote or estimate helps, but isn’t essential).

   – Tell us who benefits — a year group, a sports team, the whole school?

   – If there’s urgency (e.g. safety-related), let us know.

Read the full Funding Requests & Allocations Policy for the complete criteria.
