At John Purchase Public School, voluntary contributions from families play an important role in helping the school and P&C provide additional resources, technology and facility improvements that directly benefit our students. Every contribution helps us invest in learning environments, equipment and projects that enhance the educational experience for all children at JPPS.

The John Purchase Public School P&C Voluntary Contribution for 2026 is $82.50 per student.

These funds have helped the P&C invest in resources and technology that support teaching and learning across the school, including:
   - Student laptops across all stage groups
   - Promethean interactive screens in permanent classrooms
   - Projectors and screens in demountable classrooms

By contributing, families help ensure our students continue to have access to modern learning tools and resources

Families are also encouraged to contribute $50 per student to the JPPS Building Fund.

Building Fund donations are tax deductible and may be claimed as part of your annual tax return.

Funds raised through the Building Fund support improvements to school facilities and outdoor learning and play spaces, helping create the best possible environment for current and future students.

Potential projects include:
   - New shade shelter for the K–2 sandpit area
   - New surface for the K–2 undercover COLA area
   - Playground equipment upgrades Improvements to playground softfall areas
   - General painting, landscaping and refurbishment of school grounds
   - Shade shelter for the multi-purpose court in the upper playground

While projects are subject to funding availability and school priorities, these represent key areas identified for future improvement.

The support of our families enables the P&C and school to invest in initiatives that may not otherwise be possible through standard funding alone.
